Motie

Motie is an adaptation of the mathematical game, The Soldier's Game. The game can be played against the computer or another player. One player controls the Moties, an advanced race that will enslave humankind when they come into contact with them. The game board consists of interconnected interstellar jump points. The Moties have a ship which they can move one spot each turn; the humans have 3 ships they can move. The goal for the humans is to lock the Moties in so that they cannot make a valid move. The Moties win if they reach the human home world, aren't captured by turn 15 or if moves repeat for more than 3 times in a row.
