Motorsport Manager

Description
Motorsport Manager is a single-player track racing management simulation game. The player takes control of a professional racing team competing across multiple circuits and seasons. Acting as team principal, the player oversees every aspect of the organization, from signing drivers and engineers to designing competitive cars and setting long-term goals. Races unfold as tense, strategic events where the player must balance risk, resource use, and tactical choices to guide their team to success.
During a race, the player issues commands from the pit wall. Tire selection, fuel load, pit stop timing, and engine modes must be adjusted in real time as weather, track conditions, and accidents influence performance. Drivers respond to instructions differently depending on their abilities, temperament, and morale, requiring the manager to understand when to push aggressively or conserve resources. Victory often depends on anticipating changing conditions and executing precise strategies under pressure.
Progression outside of races involves upgrading facilities, improving car parts, and developing next season’s chassis. Each decision affects future performance, with trade-offs between investing in immediate improvements or focusing on long-term development. The scouting system allows managers to search for new drivers and staff, comparing talent, salary demands, and potential growth. Finances play a central role, as sponsorship deals, prize money, and operating costs determine the sustainability of the team.
Drivers and staff have individual stats and traits that impact both race-day performance and team dynamics, while board expectations influence the manager’s job security. Media interactions and contract negotiations present choices that shape reputation and future opportunities. Random events, such as rule changes or regulation shifts, can alter the competitive landscape, forcing the player to adapt strategies from season to season.
