Murder in the Hotel Lisbon

A man has committed suicide in room 302 of Hotel Lisbon. He stabbed himself in the back 14 times while drinking a cup of coffee, and it is up to Detective Case and Clown Bot to solve the mystery -- could it have been murder instead?

Murder in the Hotel Lisbon is a traditional point-and-click humorous adventure game, in the style of the classic LucasArts adventure games at a 256x192 resolution. What is mechanically new is an interview system -- in order to crack suspects, the player must interrogate them using the correct character to ask the questions, together with the right choice of questions and the correct items to present as evidence. Besides the main plot-line, the game also includes three optional side-quests (short mysteries to be solved by the P.I. protagonists) and a mini-game where Clown Bot does a stand-up comic routine (select the correct punchline and the crowd cheers; get it wrong and they throw tomatoes -- and more).
