Mushihimesama Gaiden: Shinju ga Mori no Mayoigo

Mushihimesama Gaiden is the first spinoff of Cave's 2004 shooter Mushihimesama. This game is an overhead view walking shooter; players freely navigate the levels on foot and can scroll the screen in any direction. Reco, the main character, is accompanied by her trusty helper Giniro who will lock onto nearby enemies and shoot at them. She's also able to toss bombs in four directions for extra damage, although the windup makes it a slower weapon.
