Myst: 25th Anniversary Collection
Description
Myst: 25th Anniversary Collection comes in an oversized box in the shape of a book and was only available via a Kickstarter campaign. The book/box closes magnetically. Depending on the pledge level, there is either a static picture of Myst Island inside, or an LCD screen that shows a flyover of Myst island as seen in the Myst linking book in the original Myst.
A "hidden" compartment in the side of the book contains DVDs with the following Myst series games:
- Myst: Masterpiece Edition
- Riven: The Sequel to Myst
- Myst III: Exile
- Myst IV: Revelation
- Myst V: End of Ages
- Myst URU: Complete Chronicles
- realMyst: Masterpiece Edition
A second "hidden" compartment in the side of the book is either empty, or contains a replica of Gehn's pen and inkwell as seen in Riven, depending on the pledge level.
At higher pledge levels, the book/box has a USB connection which is used to charge the LCD battery, and depending on the pledge level, may also allow access to digital copies of the three Myst novels, as well as high-resolution scans of some of the Riven design maps.
