Description
The German serious game Natur? Politisch. deals with the topic of environmental activism and environmental policy of the GDR (East Germany) in a visual novel format.
In the game dialogue between Peggy, Till, Sabine and Alex, there are references to historically-accurate events. For example, the environmental disaster in Bitterfeld.
The story of the serious game is purely fictional, but represents possible events in the 1980s. Two characters are modeled on real people: As climate activists and contemporary witnesses, these two people have shared their personal experiences and allowed them to flow into the game.
Didactic material is provided with the game to bring educational direction and more clarity in terms of fact and fiction.
