NBA Live 06
Description
NBA Live 06 is the debut of EA's basketball series on mobile phones. The game features licensed teams and players, 3D graphics, and, unlike earlier mobile simulations of the sport, has full 5-on-5 teams.
Game modes include Quick Play for a random game, Play Now for a single game with selectable teams, and Season for a 16-game season plus eventual playoffs. On offense, the controls allow for shooting, passing (the player passed to can't be chosen) and dunking (with the phone vibrating on a successful dunk). On defense, it is possible to switch between a number of defensive sets, and the defender can attempt steals and blocks. The game features commentary by Marv Albert.
