This version of Need for Speed: Undercover is loosely based on the game of the same name from the "senior" platforms. The player takes the role of an undercover cop who needs to win races in order to gain reputation within a crime syndicate. There are different types of races, including beating the timer, finishing in the first place or getting a predetermined sum of money by bashing obstacles and cars on the road. The cars can perform drift moves and use nitro.
