Hidden object puzzle adventure Nightfall Mysteries: Haunted by the Past is the fourth game in a series that began with Nightfall Mysteries: Curse of the Opera. As Christine you explore various screens finding objects to collect that can be used to access other objects or new areas. Some are collected by playing hidden object scenes where items must be found from a list. Others are collected by completing puzzles. A hint system provides solutions while a journal takes notes that might provide clues to help you. A map also shows you your location. There are also audio tapes to collect dotted around the game (along with theatre masks if you’re playing the collector’s edition).
