NimTUROCHAMP

NimTUROCHAMP is an implementation of Turochamp, which is considered to be the first chess algorithm programmed for use with a computer in 1948. Its title is an amalgamation of the names of its creators, Alan Turing and David Champernowne. According to available information, due to technical restrictions it was not possible to implement the complete set of chess rules. Despite this fact, it was still not possible for computers at that time to run the program.
