This special release contains the following:

• Nintendogs: Best Friends - Exclusively only sold bundled. No breeds in this game are exclusive to this version and the exclusive version items are from the Dachshund and Friends version . The initial starting breeds are: Miniature Dachshund (also in Dachshund & Friends) Labrador Retriever (also in Labrador & Friends) Beagle (also in Dachshund & Friends and Dalmatian & Friends) Golden Retriever (also in Dachshund & Friends and Dalmatian & Friends) German Shepherd (also in Chihuahua & Friends and Dalmatian & Friends) Yorkshire Terrier (also in Chihuahua & Friends and Dalmatian & Friends)

Earning training points can eventually unlock these breeds:

Shih Tzu, Shetland Sheepdog, Toy Poodle, Boxer, Pug, Miniature Schnauzer, Siberian Husky, Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Miniature Pinscher, Cavalier K C Spaniel, Shiba Inu, and Chihuahua

• A Nintendo DS (comes in either of these three colors; Pearl Pink, Electric Blue, and Teal)
• A wrist strap

Note: This should not be confused with a later re-release of Nintendogs: Best Friends which was bundled with a Nintendo DS Lite.
