Now That's What I Call a Family Quiz

Now That's What I Call a Family Quiz is a quiz based on pop music from the 1960's through to the 2000's. It is played bu either a single player/team or by two players/teams going head to head. The game keeps track of the score so there is no need for pencils and paper.
The aim of the game is to start as a nobody and build a music career, to do this the player(s) answer music questions and with each correct answer their career progresses. There are twenty steps along the career path starting with "Buying a guitar"; "Joining a band"; "Writing a song"; all the way to playing a stadium gig.
To play a 'Head to Head' game the players select one of the specialty decades from the 60's through to the 00's, during the game the team will receive more questions on this decade that the others. The game then begins, for each correct answer the team moves along their career path towards stardom but control passes to the opposing team if a question is answered incorrectly.
If a team answers two questions correctly then the third question will be from their chosen decade and if that is answered correctly the player/team advances a further two places along their career path. Control always passes to the opposing team after the third question.
The game will not allow two teams to occupy the same place on the career ladder. Should this happen at the end of a round then there is a Generation Clash question in which the first team to identify a song or a group and shout out the answer wins.
A single player game is almost exactly the same as the 'Head to Head' game the difference being with the final question of each round. If the third question is answered correctly the player advanced two places as before but if it is answered incorrectly the player drops back two spaces.
There is no host for this game so nothing is explained verbally. The instructions on how to play are a series of text screens, the questions are screens with multiple choice answers and the tasks are also presented as screens of text.
