Obliterate!
Description
Obliterate! is a simple multiple choice game where the player is in charge of a submarine taking aim at a battleship through a periscope. The game was released via the Prestel viewdata service, and had generic theming before being updated the following year to one inspired by the Falklands War. In the game, the player must first select the estimated range from the submarine to the battleship (with a choice of 10 options from 1000 yards to 10000 yards), then select the time it takes for the submarine's "thermodynatronic" torpedos to detonate. If the player selects the right combination of these two options, the ship is successfully destroyed. If not, the player must try again.
