Odyssey 500

The Odyssey 500 is a dedicated console that plays four variants of Pong:

• Tennis
• Hockey
• Smash
• Soccer

Players can adjust the settings of the game, including the center line position and ball speed. Each player has three knobs, one controlling vertical position, one horizontal and one allowing to adjust the ball's trajectory. Unlike the Odyssey 200 the game displays score using numbers and serving happens automatically. It does not include the difficulty settings from the Odyssey 300. The major difference from the Odyssey 400 is the addition of simple graphics to represent the different game elements and a fourth game (Soccer), which is functionally identical to Hockey, but features some the player graphics from smash.

The games can be played with either two or four players.
