Oil Tycoon
Description
Oil Tycoon is a text-based 2-player competitive simulation of the oil industry for the TRS-80.
Each player takes control of an oil company, and must compete to maximize profits. Each turn, a player can choose to explore for oil, and if successful can set up drilling operations. There are options to spend money on research and development, which can optimize future drilling by reducing costs and increasing probability of finding oil. Players can set the price which they try to sell their oil, and can see their current oil flow and oil reserves. Players can suffer random setbacks including a well blowout or a tanker spill.
