One Drop of Life

One Drop of Life is a short game made for ONE DROP, an international non-profit organization that sees water as a transformative force to improve living conditions and wants to give communities the ability to care for themselves and their family. The game consists of a single, vertical environment with three rounds. Starting from a pump a drop of water moves down at a constant speed and needs to reach the soil at the bottom to make a plant grow. The drop can be steered left to right and can touch surfaces. There is however also pollution, such as discarded soda cans. When these are touched the water becomes polluted and the game is immediately over. Additional drops of water can be picked up for points. Every now and then facts and messages are shown about the importance of water in the world and how water affects the daily lives of many people.
