One Gun Guy

One Gun Guy is a short Mega Man-style platform shooter. Taking place in a single lengthy level the player is tasked with infiltrating a robot fortress and defeat the boss robot.
The player starts equipped with several special abilities, including double jumping, gliding in the air and a charge shot. Getting hit will reduce your power level by one, gradually taking away your abilities until you're left in only your underwear and able to do a basic jump and shot only, after which another hit will send you back to the latest checkpoint.
Power can be increased again by collecting 100 coins or grabbing a helmet pickup, possibly raising your power even beyond the initial level.
The fortress contains numerous dangerous robots, as well as other hazards like laser beams, turrets, moving platforms, Indiana Jones-style rolling boulders and a few sections of riding a mine cart.

The game's unlockable hard mode leaves the player without any abilities and without the ability to power up or survive multiple hits.
