opensara

opensara is a platform game starring Sara, the mascot of the OpenGameArt project.

The game is divided into five short episodes, with their own storylines and mechanics:

• Mountain: Sara has eaten the witch's poisonous apples and must find a special flower before she dies! Get the key and reach the exit of all five levels before her health runs out.
• Tower: Sara enters the tower of Drakul and he won't let her leave! Outrace the rising lava and defeat Drakul at the top of his tower.
• Cloud: Sara is on vacation in Asia when she is attacked by monsters. Pilot her airplane in this shoot 'em up level as she guns down flying monsters and faces the dragon.
• Train: Sara is hired to guard the train, but it is attacked by Annie! Defeat Annie in a boss battle.
• City: Sara is sent to the future where a cyborg penguin has conquered earth! Push all buttons to open the exit, then defeat CyberTux in a boss battle.
