Orbox

Orbox is a sliding block puzzle game with 25 levels. The goal of the game is to slide the blue and yellow flashing rectangle to the red exit.

The player controls the rectangle using the cursor keys. Once the rectangle is sliding in a direction it will keep moving until it hits a wall or object. When the rectangle slides off screen the level resets and the player must start over again.

The difficulty of the levels increases gradually and more gameplay elements are introduced. There are portals which teleport the rectangle to another portal. Angled tiles which deflect the moving rectangle by 90 degrees. Gate blocks are two blocks with an opening, slide the rectangle through the opening and it will snap shut into just one block. Switches that change or rotate parts of the level layout. A blue laser which acts as a sliding pole, allowing the player to freely move the rectangle along the length of laser. A yellow laser can't be crossed and must be deactivated using a switch.

The level progress is not saved but each level reveals a password with which the player can continue at a later time.
