Otomedius

Otomedius is a horizontally scrolling shooter with 3D backgrounds shown from a side view. Apart from featuring anime girls the game shares the mechanics of Gradius controlling a space ship. The arcade version features touch screen input, unlimited continues for one credit (but allowing only three stages to be played) and a score system to get unlockable features. The Xbox 360 version titled features exclusive stages and remixed tunes from previous Gradius games.
