P. B. Bear's Birthday Party

Game cover: P. B. Bear's Birthday Party

Description

Inspired by the eponymous book written by Lee Davis, P. B. Bear's Birthday Party is an electronic storybook designed to help children learn to read. While the story is narrated, words are highlighted one after another. Thus, toddlers can associate a spoken word and the corresponding text or picture. Let's start by the beginning : P.B. Bear celebrates his birthday with friends, i.e. other cute animals. The CD-ROM features eighteen activities, from waking up in the morning until returning to bed, tired, at the end of the day:

  • Hello P.B. Bear
  • P.B. Bear wakes up
  • In the bathroom
  • A special breakfast
  • Post for P.B. Bear
  • More presents
  • The big box
  • More and more boxes
  • A surprise for P.B. Bear
  • P.B. Bear has an idea
  • All aboard
  • Off to the country
  • The birthday picnic
  • It's time for presents
  • P.B. Bear's new toys
  • Time to go home
  • Back to town
  • A sleepy bear

The CD-ROM also features a section for parents. The French version offers a chance to switch to the English version and voices. The box also includes a P.B. Bear plush.
