Pac-Manhattan

Pac-Manhattan is a version of Pac-Man in a city setting, created for a competition at the website GameCodingUK. The city was taken over by robbers who unleashed ghosts to scare away all citizens, and it's up to Pac-Man to foil this evil plot.

The gangsters are driving around the city in their car, fleeing from Pac-Man and dropping a trail of coins behind them. To complete each level the player must catch and eat several cars (only one is present at a time), and pick up all the dropped coins. Ghosts roam the levels and kill Pac-Man if they catch him, but there are a number of power pills strewn around which allow Pac-Man to turn the tables and eat the ghosts for a limited time. The game also includes special bonus items which move around the level and give bonus score when eaten. Pac-Man has the ability to jump, which allows him to avoid getting caught by a ghost by jumping over it.
