Pacific 231

Pacific 231 is a educational strategy game for the Apple II.

The player takes on the role of conductor of a train from a top down perspective, and the goal is to pick up cargo at a location and bring it to the assigned destination. The player can accelerate and decelerate their train and change direction at a railroad switch. The player picks up milk, wood, fuel, and iron from farms, forests, oil pumps, and mines. These must then be delivered to the appropriate dairy, sawmill, foundry or refinery. The player receives money for completing their tasks. There are a total of 8 different tracks in different terrain
