PackRat
Description
PackRat is a turn-based virtual card-collecting game. Cards feature unique artwork and are organized into collections, reflecting a theme (e.g. 'Western'). Cards are collected amongst players and the game is designed to allow some interaction between players, specifically the collecting of cards.
A player takes turns collecting cards to complete sets; a set is complete when a collection of 10-20 cards has been accumulated. Rewards are offered for collecting a set, e.g. a special "featured" card which is kept as part of one's profile. The game is designed to allow players to find cards in a market as well as to steal cards from other players (Rats). Other cards must be created by following a "recipe" for combining three cards.
As a freemium game, players can purchase credit for access to rare cards, but no payment is required to play or make progress.
