Description
Palette is an adventure game developed in RPG Maker 95. It stars a famous psychiatrist who just wanted to go home after a long day at work when a client came by and asked him to help a girl who's lost her vision and memory in an accident. The psychiatrist suggests doing a session on the following day, but the client made an offer the psychiatrist couldn't refuse by bringing a gun with her for successful negotiation. Thus, having no other choice, the psychiatrist starts to counsel the girl.
Players will need to constantly call the girl and then go through her memories while locating shreds of memories that will give her more places to explore in an attempt to get her memories back. As the girl tries to remember some of the objects and events, the color of the room changes from sepia to blue, green or red, depending on the type of memories. Moving to other places is done using nodes and when the girl goes through each node, she will lose energy. Losing all her energy will get players back to reality and force them to call the girl again to continue her trip down memory lane.
As the girl collects more shards, players will watch scenes from her past which are shown in a non-chronological order, while completing the game will show a recap of all her actions which led to her losing her memory and vision.
