Payday 2: The Text Adventure
Description
Payday: The Text Adventure is a promotional browser-based text adventure released to coincide with the 2019 Steam Summer Sale.
Duke and Dallas are preparing for an upcoming heist, by visiting Vlad Kozak's bakery. The choices you make will change the events that unfold, eventually leading to a successful heist - or failure.
The game is in a choose-your-own-adventure format. The game will present a bit of the story and then give you a choice on how to proceed. You can get one of four possible endings depending on your choices. Additionally, clearing the game will give you one of four promotional mask packs for Payday 2 (PC), via a Steam key. These are:
- The Alienware Mask Pack - Two masks previously exclusive to Alienware customers;
- Sydney's Swim Challenge - Given to people who donated to Georgia "Sydney" Van Cuylenburgs's charity drive;
- Paydaycon 2015 Mask Pack - Given to Paydaycon 2015 atendees;
- Paydaycon 2016 Mask Pack - Given to Paydaycon 2016 atendees and through giveaways at the Payday forum.
