Peak

Description
Peak is a cooperative climbing and survival game. Up to four players work together to climb a large mountain after crash-landing on a deserted island. The main objective is to scale the mountain while avoiding environmental hazards such as toxic plants, extreme weather, lava, and a deadly fog that rises from below. Players must manage hunger, stamina, and injuries while collecting supplies found along the way, including food, climbing tools, and first aid kits.
The game features several biomes, including tropical jungles, snowy regions, and volcanic areas, each presenting unique challenges. Some food sources can provide temporary benefits, while others may cause negative effects like poisoning or heat exhaustion, reducing a player's ability to climb. The maps are procedurally generated and reset every 24 hours.
Teamwork is central, with players able to assist one another by boosting teammates, sharing resources, or reviving fallen players at checkpoints. Staying together is also important to avoid threats such as a skeletal creature that targets isolated players. While designed as a multiplayer experience, it is possible to play solo. Solo play transforms the game into a more isolated, puzzle-like challenge but increases the difficulty due to the lack of team support. The game does not feature save points during climbs; falling requires players to start over or climb back to their previous position.
