Pennies from Heaven

Pennies from Heaven is a 1-player arcade game for the VIC-20.

Have you ever thought who fills the crock of gold that can be found at the end of the rainbow? Well, it's said to be filled by a lone leprechaun who after the sun has set can change all the rain drops he catches into coins of gold. Well, it's almost dark, and they forecast rain.

The player controls the leprechaun with a wheelbarrow, and moves laterally at the bottom of the screen. Coins fall from the sky, and the goal is to position the wheelbarrow to catch each coin. Each coin gains a point, but each missed coin costs a point. If the player drops below 0 it's game over. Every 15 coins caught causes the rate of coin fall to increase. The final score is based upon the number of caught coins.
