Game cover: Picture Lines

Description

Picture Lines is an ad-supported freeware game from Russia, during the installation the player must agree to the installation of software from the Israeli company 'Cydoor Technologies'.

The game is a version of Colour Lines in which players have to connect five balls of the same colour. When connected the balls in the line disappear scoring points. Every turn where the player fails to construct a line results in three more balls being randomly placed on the game's grid.

The game takes its name from the 'Picture Lines' game mode which slowly reveals a background picture as the game progresses, it can also be played in 'Classic' mode which is the same game but without the picture. Other game modes replace the five ball line with squares, crosses or blocks, the player can also vary the number of colours in use, the number of balls required to make a shape, and the number of balls dropped into the game area in each turn.

In addition to the game users could also download an software development kit (SDK) which would allow them to create and upload their own skins for the game as well as additional pictures and sounds
