Pirate Pond
Description
Pirate Pond is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.
The pirates have been causing trouble for way too long. Their terror trips through the ocean have rendered the waters unsafe for travel, and their vicious attacks on villages have left tragedy and terror in their wake. The player plans to end all that with a commando raid on Pirate Pond.
The player controls a small character that can move and shoot in 8 directions. The player must destroy all static pirates within 1 minute, and then push the pirate ship off the right of the screen. On later levels, several pirates move about the screen. The player starts with 5 lives, and there are 3 levels of difficulty. The player loses a life if they run out of time or touch a pirate.
