Play Period

Description
Play Period is a singleplayer mouse-controlled freeware game based on oscilloscope wave patterns.
The game is played on a single screen which can be displayed either within a window or full screen, The main part of the game area is occupied by a green rectangle within which is traced a light green wave form. Below the wave trace are three dials which range from zero to fifteen. By cycling through the numbers on these dials the player adds or subtracts a sine wave frequency from the displayed wave form thus changing it, the objective being to find the combination of waves that cancels out the main wave form.
The game does have two difficulty settings and in both settings gameplay is as described above. In the default setting the dials the player uses to cycle through wave forms use whole numbers while the 'high fidelity' difficulty cycles from zero to fifteen in increments of 0.1.
The game has no sound, no save game function and no high score table.
