PlayStadium 4: Fumetsu no Dai League Ball

PlayStadium 4: Fumetsu no Dai League Ball is the fourth and final game in Banpresto's cartoon baseball franchise. It plays very similar to previous entries and includes all of the same game modes: Open Battle is an exhibition match against the CPU or a second player; Pennant Race is a single-player full season mode; Growing Up mode is a campaign mode for custom edit teams; and there are also Home Run Race and Training modes in addition to a team editor. The game features a full NPB player and team license and updated with player data for nearly 1000 players for the 1999 season. The main new feature in this entry is a new single-player story mode based on the classic 1960s baseball manga and anime Kyojin no Hoshi (known internationally as Star of the Giants).
