PoP A HooP
Description
Pop A Hoop is a single player, keyboard controlled basketball game.
In this game the player is presented with a picture of a player about to throw a basketball. In the top right of the window is a picture of a basketball hoop shown over a basketball which oscillates from side to side. The ball is thrown when the player presses the SPACEBAR and the objective is to press that key when the ball is immediately beneath the hoop. There are two game modes, the Points Game in which the player tries to achieve a specified total as quickly as possible, and the Timed Game in which the player tries to achieve a high score in sixty seconds.
The game is keyboard controlled, has optional sound effects and music, and high score tables.
