Polar Rescue

In Polar Rescue you control a penguin traversing a frozen, ice-covered world to reach and defeat the Ice Giant. The penguin must navigate through obstacles, including spikes, hostile animals, and incoming snowballs. Contact with any obstacle results in the loss of one life. The player starts with nine lives; losing all lives results in restarting the game.

The player collects snowballs scattered throughout the environment. Snowballs are stored in a backpack-powered launcher and can be fired at enemies to eliminate them.

To progress through each map, the player must collect all the stars within the level. Once all stars are collected, the player can move forward. Some stars may require careful platforming or navigation to access.

The game ends when the player defeats the Ice Giant or loses all lives.
