Polaris Rebellion
Description
Polaris Rebellion is a vertically scrolling overhead shooter in which the player takes on the role of a member of the Space Police Corps with the mission to defeat rebel forces on three distant planets.
The aim of the game is to destroy as many enemy units as possible and to reach the end of each level without getting shot down. Any damage on the rebel forces will be translated into credits that can be spent on the next level to buy additional equipment such as improved missiles, bombs or health-packs.
There are three levels, each on a different planet and against a different enemy:
- Level 1: The Ice Pirates, on New Reykjavik
- Level 2: The Miners Guild, on the Raw Material Moon Steel Guard
- Level 3: The Libyan Emigrant Circle, on Drenor III
Progress is saved with a password system.
