Poly Bridge

Poly Bridge is a single-player physics-based puzzle and construction game. Players take on the role of a bridge engineer, tasked with designing and building functional structures across rivers, valleys, and other gaps to allow vehicles to cross safely. There is no narrative context beyond the engineering challenges, with the focus placed entirely on puzzle-solving and experimentation through increasingly complex levels.

Gameplay centers on constructing bridges using a limited budget and a set of materials such as wood, steel, cables, and hydraulic components. Each material has different properties and costs, requiring the player to balance efficiency, durability, and affordability. Bridges must withstand the weight and movement of cars, trucks, and other vehicles, with simulations testing whether designs succeed or collapse under stress. Levels gradually introduce new elements such as drawbridges, moving parts, or multiple stages where the bridge must adapt to different vehicle types in sequence.

Players are encouraged to find not only working solutions but also creative or efficient ones, as the game tracks budget use and construction style. Additional features include a sandbox mode where players can build without restrictions and experiment freely with design ideas. The game also incorporates replay tools and solution sharing, allowing players to upload their bridges or view others’ approaches.
