Preston Sterling and the Legend of Excalibur
Description
Adventurer, traveler and treasure-hunter Preston Sterling was hired by a billionaire Vincent Omega to find the mystical artifact in English mythology: Excalibur, the sword of the legendary King Arthur. Starting from Glastonbury Abbey, Preston proceeds to the ruins of Tintagel Castle located in the county of Cornwall in the south-west of England, and eventually comes to the lake in French Brittany, followed by thugs of Mr. Yakamoto, a shady art collector.
Preston Sterling and the Legend of Excalibur is an adventure game, emphasizing puzzle-solving, along with various action sequences. The adventure part of the game is played on static screens, where a character can interact with scattered items, people, and an inventory, using a first-person view. A closer look at the puzzle is also shown in first-person view. Cut-scenes and action sequences, such as running on a road with obstacles, roaming a maze, or fighting with quick time events, are shown using a third-person view.
A walkthrough is integrated into the game and may be accessed at any time. There is localization for German, English and Russian.
