ProFlight 98
Description
ProFlight 98 is an add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 98. It is a set of tools to make the flying experience more realistic, by adding digitized voice ATC guidance to a flightplan created in the 'Adventure Planner'/'Flight Planner' tools, using a new database with Navaids, Intersections, SID/STAR and Airports. The result is then used within a new 'Flight Management Computer' (FMC) linked to the standard autopilot in FS98.
In addition, there is a 'Personalization Wizard' providing new skins/panels to the standard FS98 aircraft, to change the looks of the Cessna, Learjet and B737 models both on the outside and inside. One extra aircraft is also included: the Boeing 777-300 NG, also equipped with with FMC and glass panel cockpit.
This product was later followed up by the similar AETI ProFlight 2000.
