Psycastria 2
Description
Psycastria 2 is a 1–4 player side-scrolling arcade space shooter, and the sequel to Psycastria.
Aliens from the planet Psycastria have built powerful space platforms from which they are attacking the smaller planets of the galaxy. The consequences of a Psycastrian victory are far too terrible to contemplate.
The player controls a small ship that moves up and down, fires straight forwards, and can reverse direction to scroll the screen left or right.
The player gains an extra ship every 30,000 points. The goal on each level is to destroy the 10 circular energy pods and then land on the main landing strip signified by leading arrows. The player must avoid high buildings and destroy enemy vessels protecting the space platforms.
In between levels there a bonus section where the player destroys aliens which fly across the screen.
