Pub Quiz: Volume 1
Description
Despite it's name the DVD Pub Quiz: Volume 1 is a complete, freestanding product. As DVD quizzes go this is one of the simpler products. It has just five hundred questions and players use pen and paper, not provided, to write down their answers and to keep score.
The game groups questions into categories, General Knowledge; Science & Nature; Geography; Art & Literature; Pop Music; Entertainment; History; & Sport which are selected via the DVD remote. Once a category is selected the game shows a set of five questions, each question is accompanied by four possible answers labelled A,B,C & D and remains on screen for ten seconds. When the ten seconds are up the game immediately shows the next question. When the round is complete the correct answers are shown and the game pauses on this screen to allow player(s) to score their answers.
The game has no music and no voice-over performer reading the questions
