Puleunmae

_Puleunmae_is a shooter game in which players assume the role of an aircraft squad leader engaged in war. The gameplay takes place within a rectangular mission area that scrolls in all directions. While the scrolling is limited to a 2D format, the aircraft are displayed from different perspectives based on their flying direction. The typical objective of missions is to eliminate all enemies within the area. Due to the high speed of enemy movements, players must monitor the radar closely, which provides the positions of enemies relative to the player's aircraft. In addition to standard attacks, players can utilize a limited number of missiles and a turbo move.

Between missions, players have the opportunity to modify their aircraft's weaponry and select a different pilot, effectively serving as extra lives. Mission briefings and story sequences are also presented between missions. Besides the campaign mode, the game features an alternate mode allowing players to choose from nine aircraft and immediately engage in action.
