Pulp Diction: Word Detective

Pulp Diction: Word Detective is a noir-themed word detective game where the player must find words at the scene of the crime to solve the case. It can be played endlessly, but it is structured through six difficulty levels which are unlocked by being promoted at certain score thresholds. As the player progresses, the cases get harder, with trickier objectives to complete under tighter constraints, and the player must make more use of the time bonuses and magnifying glasses to solve the case in time.

The game centers around a grid of letters on a typewriter that refresh randomly. The player can tap adjoined letters to make words, double tapping the last letter to submit the word, with longer words being worth increasingly more points. Some letters contain a bonus object, such as the magnifying glass, or the stopwatch. The magnifying glass can be collected, and used at any time to refresh all letters on the board. The stop watch adds time to the clock, to give you longer to solve timed cases.
