Purelove Monologue: Xiaoxiao

Purelove Monologue: Xiaoxiao is a Chinese kinetic novel which tells the story of a romance between an illustrator and a programmer. The protagonist is a 24-year-old freelance illustrator who discovers that his neighbor, a beautiful 23-year-old woman named Fu Xiao who works as a programmer for a well-known internet company, is actually an old friend whom he has not seen since childhood. As the two rekindle their friendship, Fu Xiao quits her job to start a game studio with the protagonist, hoping to achieve her childhood dream. They are joined in their quest by two other women: the petite but capable Qin Yuluo and the innocent-looking but perverted Hao Hao.

As a kinetic novel, the game does not offer choices for the player to make which result in branching story routes. However, it does have a "text barrage" system in certain scenes which allows the player to enter textual commentary to show to other players when they also play that scene. This feature can be disabled. The game features Chinese voice acting for the main three female characters.
