Purpose vs Profit: The Trade-off Game
Description
Purpose vs profit: The Trade-off Game is a short managerial simulation where players are tasked with running a publicly-traded company for four years. They must choose where to allocate the company's limited budget: on short-term growth, environmental initiatives, social responsibility, and long-term research. At the end of each round the company gains or loses points with investors and stakeholders. The game was created as part of a Financial Times series called "The Company of the Future."
