Quest for the Scrolls: Hercules & Xena Learning Adventure

Description

Quest for the Scrolls: Hercules & Xena Learning Adventure is an educational game for multiple systems.

Across the lands of Ancient Greece, two legendary figures stood between man and the wrath of the gods: Hercules, son of Zeus, and Xena, Warrior Princess. Now, the priceless scrolls containing their stories of bravery and compassion have been destroyed! In a final attempt to restore the scrolls, a student bard sets out across the ancient land in search of the famous tales.

Sent out from the Athens Academy for Performing Bards, children use logic, language, and math skills to complete seven activities. The player must travel between islands, trading the right combination of items in the right order to earn a piece of the scroll. Then can sharpen their reading comprehension skills on the way to the Temple of Dimeni Springs. Beatnikus, the Poetic Cyclops of Thermon, teaches the basics of rhyme and meter. A trip to the Ancient Olympics tests the player's math and comprehension skills. Logic and association are the key to discovering the route to the heart of a Grecian burial tomb. Returning to Athens, children use puzzle pieces to assemble the scroll.
