Quix

Quix is a 1 - 2 player clone of Qix for the TRS-80 CoCo.

The player guides a marker which must draw rectangles and other shapes in order to claim territory. Lines must be connected to previously present edges, and the player can't travel within claimed territory except along lines. Once a shape has been made, it will be colored in to show that this territory is claimed. While drawing the rectangles, the player needs to avoid the Quix, a series of colored lines that crawl the screen, and the Sparks that travel around the border and any lines the player has made. The player can score double points by moving slower and coloring an area red. The Fuse travels along new lines, preventing the player from moving too slowly. The player has limited time per stage. Once the player has claimed enough territory, they proceed to the next level.
