Rabbit Hop
Description
Rabbit Hop is an LCD game with three screens, part of the tri-screen series. It's an animal themed game where you play the role of a bunny who has to retrieve a giant carrot, starting at the bottom screen and working his way up. The game is essentially a reskin of Diamond Hunt with the exact same gameplay, except different backgrounds and characters.
- The bottom screen is the first screen, here the rabbit has to cross a canyon by jumping onto a rope swinging from a balloon, while avoiding falling logs. Cross the gap and don't get hit by the bouncing logs and climb up to the next screen.
- In the second screen in the middle, the rabbit has to cross a path and climb a tree that is guarded by a squirrel with a mallet on a rope. At the same time, monkeys are throwing buckets of oil down at you and a gorilla is throwing logs, which also fall down into the first screen. Climb the tree when mallet is not in front of it to move onto the final screen.
- In the third screen at the top, the rabbit has to run uphill to the large carrot, while avoiding crabs on the ground and bees in the trees. Jump over the crabs or temporarily grab the stick to kill the crabs for bonus points. Make it to the top to grab the carrot and the game restarts from the first screen at the bottom.
Each screen has its own miss counter, meaning that in the bottom screen you can fall down the canyon or get hit by the logs max. three times but this is separate from getting hit three times in second screen, or getting hit in the third screen. The game can be played either in normal mode going through all 3 screens in succession, or each of the screens can be played as an individual game. The device has a D-pad and buttons located alongside the bottom screen. The top screen can fold onto the middle screen for easy portability. There is a built-in clock and alarm function.
