Reader Rabbit's Reading Development Library 3
Description
Reader Rabbit's Reading Development Library 3 is the third game in the Reading Development Library quadrilogy. It is an educational game for children aged five to eight aiming to improve their reading comprehension, vocabulary and thinking skills.
The first story The Princess and the Pea by Hans Christian Andersen tells the story from the perspectives of the Princess or the Prince. The Goose that Laid the Golden Egg by Aesop tells the fable from the perspectives of the Goose or the Farmer. That way there are three perspectives to each story and six tales in total.
There are also additional activities to practice reading such as Story Match key words from the stories need to be matched to pictures to build word-recognition skills. In Story Order the events need to be put in the correct order, building reading comprehension and sequencing skills. In Express It children write letters to the characters in the storybooks and receive personalized answers, developing early writing and vocabulary skills.
