Real Germany Region 3: South-East
Description
Real Germany Region 3: South-East is a photo-realistic scenery add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight, intended to visually improve the landscape scenery in the Bavaria area.
It is the third and final part in the Real Germany Series, and contains summer ground textures at a high resolution (it's either 0.5m or 4m/pixel - the box and manual disagrees). Note that no Airports or other 3D objects are added in this series.
The purpose of the enhanced textures is to allow better visual queues during VFR navigation, which is based on looking out the windows, so you can have navigational help by identifying roads, rivers, lakes, mountains, and other landscape features.
In addition to the texture package, the add-on includes three sectional paper maps of the region around Munich, based on the corresponding ICAO maps, with which you can keep track of your location. There are two round-trip flights included, to show off the area.
