Description
Real Life: The Greatest Adventure of All is a text based adventure game for the Apple II.
At the beginning of each adventure, the player is required to choose their name, age and gender. The goal is to to explore a city and the surrounding environment, which represents the entirety of your life. Your actions will determine your lot at the end of life. The player has a total of 7 days to explore, and time quickly ticks by as the player moves.
If the player dies or commits suicide, they are brought before Jesus and judged by their performance. If the player is dressed well, they will be deemed to have lived a good life, and be allowed within the Kingdom of Heaven. If the player is dressed poorly, they are deemed to have lived a poor life, and will be cast to the pits of hell.
The player navigates via text entry of VERB NOUN commands. The dynamic menus on the right of the screen provide the player with all commands that are available in any location, thus preventing command guessing. Most puzzles are inventory based.
